Dear All,

After the much long wait, I finally received my MR. The date of the letter is 11th of October I just received it yesterday thru regular mail and says I need to submit the updated docs within 30 days from the date of the letter (18 days remaining).

The forms they requested are:
• updated IMM0008 Generic form
• updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form
• Schedule A Background/Declaration form
• Updated police certificates - UAE
• 2 recent photographs of P.I
• IMM5562E-Travel form

I have few questions regarding my case:
1. I have changed my employer last year but I have not updated the VO and in the form I will add this info. What will be my supporting documents? Do I have to send attested Labor Contract?
2. In the generic form there is mentioned "National Identity Document" - Is this referring to Emirates ID? Do I need to have it attested ?
3. Also, I was able to complete my ACCA/Oxford Brookes BSC Degree last September. Shall I include this one as well in the education background? I have the transcript but the Diploma will be available only after three months. Do I need to have it attested as well?

Regarding your concerns, if you update about the new or change in job after your application, it will not affect your application. Since you are not mentioning it to claim any additional points to meet eligibility criteria, even additional educational qualifications will not affect your current application any ways. National ID in your case refers to Resident Permit card provided to you by UAE Govt for identification. Attesting any of these documents are not required as they have not asked for it. It is good if you get them attested as it may help you some time in future when you have to produce an attested document for some other purpose!!! All the additional qualification and job experience will help you to get a better job in Canada. God bless.

Dear Sis, according to Arsh bhai's list, you are the only person with NOC 3112 yet to receive Medicals and max medicals received so far are for this NOC. This makes me say that if you are not receiving it tomorrow, for sure you will get it as soon as the postal service resumes after Eid holidays...Check CIC website, save and fill out all the applications forms that are mentioned by each one who have so far received document update or medical request. Keep them ready. That will save you some time and can rush to do medicals without bothering much about gathering other documents within the 30 or 60 days deadline. So, start early...all of you who are yet to receive requests...it is almost sure that you're going to get your mail from CIC...only a matter of which date in Oct/Nov 2012 you are receiving it...

Jigs; couldn't b in touch with u as was driving the whole day, coming back from my workplace to Lahore For Eid. Well picked my letter manually from post office, it's an interesting story, will share with you tomorrow as still sending this message from mobile. Well have 30 days to send updated docs. From Tomorrow will b working on full throttle...... Hopefully will get PC & WiFi tomorrow, will share more details. TC.

I follow this thread religiously though partake sparingly.
Has anyone from Saudi Arabia received MR or updated forms letter? I am afraid I'll miss my letter since I am on vacation since 21 Oct 2012 till 02 Nov 2012, and so are most people because of Hajj.
Anyways, "Kul 3am wa antum bkhair" to all members.
