Thoughts Suggested - Case Specific Enquiry - New Delhi

Hi All

Like a lot of ppl, i have completed my meds on December 22, 2009, and still awaiting Visa. I think the CHC, ND has slowed down a lot. Through numerous posts, I came to know that there are not just a few unluckly ppl who did not get their pp stamped.

So for those who has not yet got their visas, has anybody emailed CHC, ND or sent a Case Specific Enquiry and got a favorable reply.

For those who has got their passports after sending an enquiry, please do state that did u guys send any emails or Case Specific Enquiry that led to the speed up of the Visa stamping.

This knowledge will surely help us all who are awaiting Visa stamping. All thoughts are welcome.

I had sent in a case-specific enquiry after around 1 week of their receipt of the passports, just asking them to acknowledge the receipt of the medicals and the passport. Got the reply the very next day confirming the receipt of passports (not the medicals) and the standard reply that it's being processed. As I've said earlier, mine is QSW, so that could've sped up the process. Also I did not have stays longer than 6 months in any other countries and therefore no foreign PCCs or verifications. That could have been another reason.

I can only imagine the tension you are all going through, but waiting patiently is the only thing you can do. Since there are lots of FSWs pending at this stage, it is clear that there's some bottlenecking at the office and it's not because of any fault with your application. So, keep waiting for that magic Tuesday which will be sooner than later. God bless!

I have got the RPRF receipt dated January 4, 2010. Anybody who has got their visas, please suggest as to when you got your visas after the RPRF receipt. Would really be helpful for ppl like me awaiting Visa.

one after aa week PP sent to CHC NEW DELHI...

the mail from embassy to me lik ein first week of january


this file is currently pending final review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as the review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants in case any further documentation or information is required. If the officer is satisfied all requirements have been met, visas will be issued, following which we will return the passports to the applicant by registered mail. Kindly note that it can take several days for registered mail to reach its destination

Thanks Vehla. I think there is good news from CHC, ND. They were doing upgradation for some time yesterday and from two posts that I read of, who had done their Meds in mid December got their Visas. So I hope CHC, ND is back on FastTrack.

Lets Pray and hope for the best that our visas get stamped as soon as possible.
