I m a ouland applicant ,, i took my buddy’s help who is living in canada to contact mp ,, this is the reply he got it from ircc ;;;;;;

IRCC records indicate that your application is pending completion of a review of background verification checks by one of the Department’s partner agencies. Although I am unable to provide a specific time frame for this case to be finalized, please be assured that as soon as the findings of the review are forwarded to immigration officials, the processing of this application will resume without delay.

With regard to processing times, I would like to clarify that the processing times listed on IRCC’s Website are published to give applicants a general idea of how long an application process may take. These times are estimates based on how long the Department expects most applications to take under normal circumstances if they apply today.

Still no idea what kind of background is going on

Hi all - Haven't been on this forum for few years now. We have applied for permanent residence (inland express entry cec) in August 2015. Application has been finalized month ago and COPR received yesterday. Tomorrow we'll head over to the Border to confirm the status.
So if anyone is waiting longer than 6 months this may not comfort you a lot. But there were old members of this forum who may remember our process. It's been long, detailed and thorough. And after all finalized in Local Visa Office of our home country which is weird but who cares anymore.

To make things more interesting our COPR got lost in the mail by Canada Post, Visa Office has reissued another one and sent it again. In the meantime we have received the one that got lost.
Take care everyone and keep calm.

I am new on this forum

Here is my timeline
AOR:March 2017
Interview at ADVO: March 2018
Ip2: March 2018

We were told by the visa officer at the interview that it will take upto 6 months to receive PPR

However Cic asked for schedule A in April 2018

Still no PPR....does schedule A means eligibility passed and security started

I am Pakistani and PNP Outland...
Any insight would be appreciated

relax, after 6 months of waiting you wont be rejected :D... once you receive the GCMS notes in Dec, lets review it to know whats taking it so long... are you stuck in the review required for eligibility or security/background checks...
@bimale4bipeople I also thought that after 6 months you hardly could be rejected, but I was shocked to read yesterday abut someone rejected after 9 months! A CEC Inland applicant!
