Hi Everyone,
Just to leave my mark here in this thread. My application (FSO) has reached 7 months A(aor is end of april 2017), and my file and my spouse's file are under SS. God knows when it will be completed. Waiting both impatiently and patiently.
Average processing time for SS is around 6 to 18 months (from SS start date). Hope you get much before that. All the best!! Hang on their.
When did your SS started? Did you order CSIS report and CBSA notes recently?

According to the notes, my SS start begins from November, although my background check has started from September. I have ordered CSIS report recently, but not CBSA yet. Not sure if CBSA is needed at this point. I have only ordered CSIS for my self. Do you think I should order CSIS separately for my spouse? WHat is your situation?

Mine SS took ten months. If someone is in SS then there is a big chance that the total processing time will be around a year.

CBSA gcms report is exact copy of CIC gcms notes, totally uninformative. It is hard to get proper information from CBSA. CSIS gcms note atleast indicates the exact SS status of the application such as started, in progress or completed.

Thank you for the information. In your case, did they extend your medical? Or you had to redo it?
Medical was extended automatically until June 2018. My guess is for inlander, medical automatically gets extended. I have not found any inlanders so far who had to redo medical.

Would you mind telling which country are you based in.

Usually people order for CSIS after 2 or 3 months from SS start date. If your notes confirms that you and your spouse are under SS, then you can order CSIS for both. Check if your spouse is under SS as per notes, if yes then order for spouse as well.

I am Dec-2016 AOR, completed 1 year after AOR and 7.3 months under SS so far with no PPR in-sight. As per my notes, I am under SS and my spouse is not.

Your security started recently so brace yourself for long ride. Hopefully u will not have to wait long and receive your PPR soon. All the best!!

I have completed around 7.3 months of SS so far. Hoping to get PPR soon. Lets see when they clear me. Luckily only I am under SS and my spouse isn't otherwise I would have to wait for another 1 year for my spouse SS to complete. :D:p

All the best for your future!!

Hi guys I just got a request letter for uploading police clearance certificate which I uploaded in July 2017. Now they again send me the same request letter and asking for uploading the police clearance. My question in can I upload the same PCC again or I have to order for a new one? My PCC issue date was 23rd July, 2017.

Today I received my GCSM notes (May 2017 AOR FSW-O).

In the notes section it says, once confirmed, file will be RFV. Does that mean 'Ready for visa' once they check my additional documents?
Actually, I was asked to submit the additional documents which I did on 24th Oct 2017. The file hasn't been looked at since then.

My concern is the security under the Activities section. It hasn't been started yet as there is no date mentioned.

Any idea what that means?
