my question why u r waiting 18 month due to ur sequritty in process ?

Hey all

I am now in the EE pool and my score is 374. I am married and I am currently 38 years. My IELTs scores are already at the maximum.
Would there be a chance the CSR scores will go this low?
I am seeing that the only way to get to 400 is to get a job invite. Also how difficult would this be? I am already applying through job bank.

Thanks

This isn't the best thread to post this, but since we're here:
1) IMO It's unlikely that the CRS will drop below 400, but you never know...
2) To get a job you shouldn't be looking at job bank as those jobs listed there are for LMIA purposes and are already taken, there are other places like monster.ca where you can go job hunting.

Again IMO you're best bet is a PNP... If you can get a job offer in BC you'll be able to get BCPNP... Forget about OINP as you need above 400 points at the moment (this may come down as the CRS decreases so watch out for that). There are other provinces that will value you for a PNP if your occupation is in demand.

There is a good post here about PNP: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/summary-of-eligibility-requirements-for-all-express-entry-pnp-streams-t432937.0.html

Well, the delay was told to be because of the background/security checks.

Your AOR is 2 days before mine.
I hope I can be so happy very soon, too.

Best wishes in Canada.

Yes, I'm curious.

Now, tell me, why this date? ;)

Did you apply in non-Express Entry?
I applied before Jan 2015 (non-Express Entry) and after 22 months, I received my Visa.
