March 27 its going to be 9 months for me. Although I've been in military back home so maybe that's the reason that is taking too long.
Any of you got military background?

Let's hope we get something by the end of march.

My husband has military background thus we're waiting for 19 months already

The funny thing is that, they requested a additional military document. Although I provided that , my account still says : We need an additional document for the applicant .

I called them and they said the officer didn't updated yet...

If I understand correctly, my GCMS shows that my application was assigned to SGVO in Jun 2016. But SGVO didn't touch my application until Feb 2017 when I submitted status inquiry. It's really weird that my applicate was forgotten for 7 months.

My Background check only started in Feb 2017, while my AOR was in Mar 2016.

I believe you can take action against CIC for taking more than a year. There's a specific document you can submit to force them to make a decision.

Hi Mohammed ...I am a non-Muslim and waiting since 18.5 months !!!
Its all our bad luck ...somebody has raised red flag on our application and hence it is delayed ..so just stay calm and wait for your time.
