Hi all,

I just notice that messages in my profile changed. I am not sure if this is just new user interface or my individual change. The Details are more verbose, but real contents remain the same.

Do you get the same change?

Yes. Mine too.

CIC has changed the UI of the website.
CIC is doing some improvement with their websites. So, the new UI is not because of any update it is just an improvement done by CIC on website.

I am sorry to disappoint you, Morhaf, but judging from the name you chose, you sound like an Arab or a Muslim. Unfortunately, the IRCC and its partner security agencies are conducting extreme and unprecedented security checks on Arab/Muslim applicants, so it will probably be a long long wait for you, and it is very possible that they simply never give you a decision. Most of those delayed are Arabs/Muslims including myself. I have been waiting for their decision for over 18 months since PPR now.
What you can do now to check the status of your security screening is to send a mail to the CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) and send an Access-to-Information Request to the CBSA (Canadian border Service Agency). The steps of this procedure was listed a few pages back in this thread.

Any source? Or this is just opinion / hearsay. Tons of muslims still apply and get through and its safe to say, a small number of those are hung longer in this process.

I agree with you.

Most of the applicants who are stuck in the security screening are Muslims. Just check this thread for proof!
