I don't think I've seen anyone waiting for 12 months or more, but I think this summer there were some people who were waiting for 10 months receiving their PPR.
It could also be that the ones who have been waiting for long just stop visiting the forum because they get fed up with waiting and IRCC, and if they get PPR they never come back here to post about it.

I got a friend exceeding 10 months who just got PPR recently. He also received the email 4-6 weeks from SGVO month ago and around 3 weeks thereafter, he got PPR.

Cool. The email 4-6 weeks is in the 5th week now. I am also reaching 8 months since AOR. I hope all will be good.

Hello guys. Just thought I should update this house. I finally got the ppr email. AOR was April 2016. Thanks for the support and best wishes to all.

Congratulations bro!

Hic... I am stilling waiting now :'(

So if all of us who crossed a year are being just forgotten why dont we do something and organise a group claim or something?

It seems to be unrelated to visa office when you have been that delayed into the process... all of them are acting like we do not exist.

It feels like it would be a better and faster option to cancel my application and apply again now cause probably people who have AOR Nov2016 will get PPR before NOV 2015 ..... ROFL ....

It's just outrageous.

I am sorry about the very long wait. I am aware how awful it feels to "wait" for an indefinite period of time. If I may ask, what do you think is delaying your application processing?

1) It might depend on the number of countries you or your family member have been to/"certain" countries you may have been to/number of PCCs submitted.
2) If you or a family member had prior government/military experience.

The above factors might play a role in the processing time of your application.

why is everybody complaining here? LOL
take your application in your own hands and do something about it instead of ranting about it..

FYI, although I am only a few months AOR, and my app is assigned to SGVO, I gathered everyone i knew who is assigned to SGVO and we sent an email to them, raised CSE and sent feedback using the IRCC Webform telling them that if they dont do something about it, we will gather and file a writ of mandamus.

the result: they replied promising 4-6weeks processing.. and so far a number of people who have been waiting are now PPR or asked to re-do their medicals..

so DO something.. DONT rant.. just DO!

You don't think people on here have tried everything they can?

I have been calling and emailing my VO to the point they told me they will no longer respond to me. I have been in touch with lawyers. I have ordered my notes a million times. I have written to the minister, to members of parliament. All in vain. The answer is always: wait. So unless you have been waiting for 14 months, I don't feel you should be telling us what to do.
