Yes the normal format with different timeline. their response is our application is in process, they will contact us when our passports are ready for pick up, BG not needed at this time, it has been in progress since june 8, after the submission of our passports. I'm hopeful before the end of this month I should have my passports back.

One more question , when did it changed to not needed ? Or it was like that from begining ?

Back to not need after day 6...
Back to in progress June 8, after Passport arrival.

Hello Everybody,

Like you, it's been more than 6 month of waiting for our PR. I used to live in China for about a 1 year but I could not provide criminal records from China (local police did not want to give it to me) anyway...long story. I am living in Canada and they asked for this paper on my previous VISA. I did write a letter explaining why and it works twice for those previous visa
I know most of you are still waiting for the PR but did you all provide criminal records or do you think this is reason why we are still waiting. Thanks for your answer ;-)

it's the 8th month since my aor. my file is transferred to sgvo and there is not a single movement. raised cse last month but they replied after 3days with an usual mail with a link of normal processing time despite of informing that I have crossed it.also mailed to sgvo.but no reply. yesterday again raised a cse and also mailed to cpc.ctd.ottawa and sgvo... it's really disappointing. I badly need a decision of my file and I am sure there are a lot of people suffering like me.

Normally China police will issue Police Certificate but I guess you are in a complicated situation. In general, PCCs are quite essential for the PR application.

I did send my CSIS letter to IRCC and they respond as like below (my file now 8 month 4 week after AOR )

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.
