Is there anyone here who has filed an official complaint against CIC for the long processing time? :(

Who would you complain to? I'm sure we'd all be sending in complaints if it was simple and effective.

Any applicant who was rejected after 6 months or lets say 10 months of EE application ?

Well, someone from pre-EE days filed a lawsuit against CIC, and this was discussed under the current thread too. Here is the link to that external article:

https://secure.immigration.ca/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1191&PN=1&title=delayed-background-check-csis-mandamus

Notable quotes:

'... My lawyer told me that in most of the cases, the moment you sue immigration, the wheels start to move and CIC tries to finalize your file before they have to appear in court. So most likely, you'll get your immigration before the court date. And that was exactly what happened to me ...

In my case, right after I filed my claim, immigration contacted me and asked for my updated address. Then, they started to ask for some documents, etc (including renewing my medicals). After the court date was set, they seemed to double the speed! Long story short, I got my immigration visa shortly after the court date was set (i.e., a few months before the court date). ... '

However, I do not encourage anyone to take this action. The circumstances are different, and CIC may covertly take revenge, which might affect your applications.

I have a general question. Based on available data, if the processing of the application is obviously delayed for whatever reason, then what was the maximal time that one had to wait to receive a decision (positive or otherwise). 14 months? 15 months?? Can't be 2 years yet because EE was started only the beginning of 2015.

I'm past 8 months, and I don't know how much longer I am looking to wait.

We have people waiting from 14 months max so u can take that into account.

I hope and wish no one cross 14.months and even even everyone who is waiting more than 12 months should get ppr this week

my Ontario PNP application got rejected because of missing passport page. I requested Ontario to reconsider but they denied saying they have temporary pause on intake of applications.

If I do a court case as my application got rejected due to missing blank page. Would it help ?

Completed 13 Months on 26th so decided to call CIC yesterday...very rude agent ...she point blank told me not to bother them before 10th Jan 2017....she said that CIC can not do anything or for that matter even ask CSIS to expedite my case before 10th Jan 2017 when my BG check process completes one year ...She disconnected the call by again reminding me the date and saying no call before 10th Jan 2017 " You got it sir " ...

Keeping that in mind ...I'll be easily breaking 14 month record of express entry on this forum :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

8 months and 9 days of wait is over. This is my 3 rd application. CEC back in 2014 sent back due to cap fill up. EE app in Nov cancelled due to incomplete app.

And now PPR. :)

Thanks for the support i received here.

so sorry to hear that! CIC's agents should learn some manners. >:(

But don't worry. You will get your PPR one day. The only thing we can do is wait. :)

Please don't take that too seriously. U can call again anytime. U have right to know and ur doing nothing wrong.

And as far these dates r concerned don't bother about that. Dates from them are never right even their 6 month processing is not right for us.

My AOR date is January 31st and till now the status is still in progress for eligibility and background. An additional document was submitted on May 27th. Also a notification was sent that my passport is expiring in less than 1 year and to send it when i renew it (currently in progress). Is anyone familiar with such a case?

210 days..........patiently waiting.......no news is good news for me ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
