Tried calling them yesterday but apparently the office was closed due to "Statutory holiday" (I am assuming they got off for Victoria Day). Will be calling them today in a few hours. I'll post updates here.

@chiyakam : Tried calling NDVO again. First tried all options to reach immigration dept. Never got connected to immigration as they have stopped providing updates over phone call. Its all over their IVR and repeats almost every 30 seconds. :'(

Then I tried general enquiry line, after roughly 30 mins wait, call was transferred to an operator who wasn't anymore useful than the earlier IVR. She clearly stated that mail, e-mail and fax are the only options to reach NDVO immigration dept. SLA for email response is 30 days, although they may review your e-mail in 48 hours and respond to your email within 2 weeks if they feel the need to. :

I have no clue why they would delay cases like ours (where CIO call centre agents confirmed that processing is complete and file is RFV). Its either a communication error by CIO call centre ( CIO may have completed their processes but our files may still be under actual BG check with local VO) or simply a delay by NDVO in issuing PPRs.

Waiting for my second set of GCMS to get more insights on whats going on.

Like you said, no other option other than to put life on hold and wait for NDVO to respond.

Thanks for sharing the information, it seems like we do not have any option other than waiting for the NDVO's staff to be in a mood to issue PPRs :|!! I had also requested for GCMS notes via a friend in Canada last month, awaiting those notes to reveal something. Else I have also triggered another GCMS notes this month via GCMSnow.com - not sure if too much of GCMS notes request is going to put them off or what, but other than that there is no option for us to get information. When are you expecting your GCMS notes?

I am expecting my second set of GCMS by end of this month. I just hope we get our PPR before that.

The date of the last application update is: 2016/2/10 (10th Feb, when BG check changed to 'In Progress' in MyCIC).

Under the assessments area, Eligibility, Criminality & Medical are "Passed" and rest all areas are blank.

Seems like my application wasn't touched after 10th Feb. :/

Pretty much the same information in my GCMS notes from 21st Jan 2016. That too was from 30th Oct / first week of November. Haven't received my new notes yet so not sure what they will have. But yes, as per your GCMS notes your file hasn't been touched yet. Have you tried calling CIC? It helped calm down a few nerves in my case - got a nice agent who gave me detailed information.

Well, my application has not been touched since March.
I remember that there is an "application due date" which says if your application is ready, it will go to the next step.
I agree with chiyakam, call CIC and hope that a nice agent gives you an update.
Have you checked to see if your security screening is under review?

No, a lot has been done and there are around 170 pages. I was just talking about the assessments mentioned in the first few pages. i.e., this particular area:

And the due date is surprisingly in the past.

In the later pages, under admissibilities, security is blank/invisible. But there is s.15(1) on the top right, as mentioned by some, it means security has been received (not quite sure about it).

Criminality was changed to passed on 2016/2/10

Medical was changed to passed on 2015/10/24

Under ACTIVITY, Security Screening has 3 activities, but all hidden after first 4 lines (means new value, updated date, updated by and office, these 4 lines are not visible under each activity for security screening, and s.15(1) can be noted on top right on those pages).

Selection EE-Econ is also passed.

11.2-EE MI status is Met.

Candidate-PNP is also Met

Candidate-CRS is Complete

Candidate-FSW is also Met (there are around 100 activities going back in sequence/time)

My application was transferred from CPC-Ottawa to Abu Dhabi on 2015/10/30 (type: batch apps, reason: workload (re)-distribution).

In the NOTES area, the most recent note was created on 2015/2/10. Label Adm/Criminality.
And the text area shows PC for country-name and country-name are on file. NAI. c-dec x 1.

EE Eligibility note from CPC-Ottawa is in detail, everything looks fine and the case analyst/selection review seems good (can't type all details but there is nothing to worry about, all looks good).

There's almost a similar detailed note titled Review Type: Program Assistant
And then, there are a few other shorter review types, notes about police certificate request, PNP verification, and other credentials confirmation from issuing websites etc.

I guess they just forgot to open my application after February 10, 2016... or are (maybe) waiting for some final reviews and verifications etc (not quite sure).

I called IRCC call center on reaching 6 months and was informed to check with local VO. VO can't be reached by phone for any personal advice/status information. Sent an email, auto-response was to wait for 15 business days, but nothing happened even more than a month time has passed.

Filled IRCC Web Form, the response was to wait and check visa office or IRCC website for the latest waiting time stats.

I am thinking to re-order GCMS notes for the latest updates (to find out if anything happened after Feb 10). I wish visa offices were kind enough to receive calls (and give a specific reply stating the reason for the delay) from the applicants who have crossed the normal processing times.

I was about to call IRCC and I figured before I spend money on Skype credit, I'd ask here if you guys know of any free option to call Canada from abroad?

Use Gmail and call, its free for calls to US and Canada.

Its been 7 months 12 days since AOR for me and no news from any office. GCMS will arrive early next month.

Today I raised CSE, sent email to CIC and will call CIC at 8 am Canada time. Hopefully I will calm down after exhausting my options as of now
