What do you guys think is the most plausible explanation for people waiting for 8, 9 even 10 months? something wrong with the application? system's glitch? inefficiency from CIC?

We have just finished 6th month yesterday. Feeling very frustrated, disappointed, deprived and everything else. :-[ :'( >:( :( Some people get their PPR in 1-3 months.. I really dont know what did we do wrong or what the CO doing on our file.

Dont know for how long we got stuck now. This is really really unfair to the applicants..How come some applicants get their application approved in 3 months and some got stuck for eternity ???

Yeah I really don't understand why there is no consistency at all in the process... or transparency. No updates whatsoever! Leaving us in the dark. I will hit 6 months soon on 12th May. Don't know how long this torturous wait has to continue.

By the way, how come you say you are inland but your VO is in Bangladesh?

Applied & AOR: 3/11/15
Doc req: 17/11/15
RFPRF: 4/12/15
Spouse Med Doc Req & Submit: 4/3/16

Why is there a long gap between aor and spouse medical?
Didn't you put the medical together?
Usually BC PNP candidates get PR within 4-5 months.

my BG went to in progress today.. 9 months after AOR, I hope this means I am in the final stages..

Hi Musikwala..

well, the timeline and the details on the left side under my username was the timeline when we (me and my wife) applied for Canada visa first time for my wife's study permit. We came in Canada on 2012 . .. We are still in Canada and we applied for our PR when my wife finished her study and we got nominated by BCPNP..

That's how we are inland applicant... lol..

Well, there is a long gap between AOR and spouse medical, because the stupid CIC didnt get my (spouse) medical in the first place, dont know why and how.. and they took almost 5 months to let us know about it...but we are glad that they didn't reject our application just because of that.

Yes we submitted medical documents together, also i checked with our clinic twice and they also said that they have submitted the medical report on October 31, before our application..

Yes, PNP candidates normally get PR within 4-5 months, some of my known candidates even got their PPR in 3 months.. but we are unlucky i guess...

this is how stupid CIC works..

Best of luck! IRCC must reward you for making you wait for so long...

Perhaps there is a sense to write a collective letter to immigration minister on behalf of us all to have our cases expedited?
