What does the gcms note says?

I haven't ordered GCMS but the CIC call center told me it's stuck in the BG check.

Hi. Has anyone used the 'Check your application status' tool on CIC web site? Is it useful?

I hope you will hear some good news soon!

Do you have any suspicion as of why your case takes longer? (multiple countries of residence or personal history)
Also, have you seen in the forums any inlander that took longer than you?

It seems only works for applications before express entry.
for express entry applicants should go mycic to check your applications.

Count me as a new member of this topic... 6 months and 2 days ... ...

Called CIC but agent said they can't say anything as my file is in SGVO now. They told me to send email to SGVO. I sent CSE to Singapore and they replied in 3 hours (!) that my application is currently under review and requested to wait :(

That's all! No approximate date... no progress... Last GCMS generated on Feb 10 but has no updates there since Nov (Only last update was that file transfer to Singapore due to workload redistribution.). Really hopeless now... :'(

How is ee different than the old paper based system? Except ypu are forced to do mrdical twice as obviously it will expire! @ gggrrrr

Where are you getting this information about doing the medical twice because i submitted 1 PR application 1 Study Permit and 1 Work PErmit using 1 medical exam and guess what - ALL APPROVED.

Please back up your information.

There are at least two people on this topic who were asked to do medical AGAIN as it was close to expiring. And i know of one more member in the canada fsw outland facebook gropu who just had to do it as well.
Why exactly are you on this topic when ALL OF YOUR APPLICATIONS were GUESS WHAT: APROVED ??!!

There have been reports of a couple of applicants having to redo their medical due to it taking so long to process their applications and due to the fact medicals are only valid for a year. If processing times increase to the point that CIC requests second medicals for a large number of applicants, what is the point of the upfront medical?

my point exactly! this puts the entire EE process under question. This is pointless waste of applicants money and time. In the old system, medical was the last thing that was requested

Our medicals changed to "Review in Progress" from passed :(

Nothing changed after that.

oh really shush...im here to help and be helped. FYI, the PR application isn't the only and last application in the process..geez..again, now you've heard of someone HERE that has not been asked to resubmit a medical test. Also, there was a mix up between PR and temporary exams. sigh...people.
