AOR Aug 5,2015
then dead silent for 5 months
Jan 18, 2016 request foreign police check.
Feb 18, BG in progress

haven't been notified for schedule A yet.

I received request for extra document on January 20, submitted the document the same day. Received 2 ghost emails on Jan 21. Then on March 4 received another ghost email and my BG check went to in progress. Since then, nothing.

I am now at BG in progress, haven't been asked for that yet.

7 months today. Call agent said no decision has been made yet and application still in process. No s***

Yes, 11 months is definitely a long time... no idea why it took so long but couple of guesses:

I applied for PR before but my app got returned b/c they reached the CAP limit for CEC for 2015.
I also applied thru Quebec but got rejected cuz they said one of my CRA docs wasn't an original (do not go thru quebec, their document requirements are insane and they want originals of everything...and reject you without any second chances basically)...

so MAYBE they took so long with my file because they were looking into those past files? Just a guess...or I just had a very pickly/slow processing officer??? who knows!!!
Just glad it's finally over with!

So for all of you who are not even close to 11 months... dont worry!

This is my first post on this thread.

Came here to get some support from others waiting and see how things are going.

But to be honest, seeing 13 months and 11 months waiting times is not pleasant at all.

What about medical? They are valid for 12 months? 18 months?
