My MP has told me that average processing time has been updated to 11 months.

I called earlier today and they have confirmed it . It's officially 11 months , the sassy lady on CIC call center said that I would receive a reply by the 24th of March 2016.

Honestly , whats the f difference between this and the old system ??!!!!

11 months not a big deal for me.if its true.im almost nine months waiting without update.2 more months I can wait.

Yeah, I think we are on the same sinking boat lol . I hope it doesn't turn like that tragedy in BC . Anyway, I truly believe the whole express entry thing was a marketing technique to CIC as they realized how much they are screwing up in the talents international market.

It's clear that CIC is lying and can't deliver on the lie they committed to. The express system is even worse than the old system ( well at least for us ).

Anyway guys . Let's sit tight and chew our anger , and I think if we kept calling our MPs maybe that will create some pressure on CIC to finalize applications.

I doubt it will help to keep annoying our MPs

Hi ZSV, I have the same timeline as yours and I got my RFRP today. After receiving few ghost email one 10th October and One yesterday.
I called CC yesterday and they told me the average time is now 6-12 months.

Please sit tight and from what I have learned over the posts MP's cant do much beside just following up on your behalf. My suggestion is to sit tight and not push it so much that someone get annoyed. FSW is taking long for everyone and its a known fact.

I am very hopeful that you will be hearing some good news soon.

hai friends, finally .....yesterday afternoon I received ghost mail but no updates.. and then last night my ECAS status has Decision made .FST Inland applicant,
AOR in March 12th. my ECAS Status;
1. We received your null on March 12, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on March 13, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. We sent you correspondence on March 23, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

WOW , you applied on march !! and they are telling you to wait till May , WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we're gonna wait for years.

Guys just out of curiosity , Have you ever applied before for Permanent Residence?? Because I have applied in 2014 and my application was returned because the CAP was met for Mechanical Engineers ! I am trying to identify a common theme , maybe whats taking them so long is to get our documents that we applied before and cross reference them with the EE application , again I am not an expert I am just trying to find answers.

We are on the same boat, I applied on November 2014 under FSW , application was returned cuz CAP was met , and my job isn't LIMA and I wasn't under a PHD stream .

I applied under EE on the 24th of April , ( ITA was received on the 27th of March ).

I also have another application with CIC under the PNP system , but that takes 15 months ( some say 17 ) ( anticipating an answer on September 2016 for the PNP application )

As my work permit , It expires in July 2016 , I am planning to apply on March 2016 if my EE didn't finish ; ( keep in mind that for the Bridging work permit you have to wait till 4 months before the expiry date of your work permit ).

All the best guys and keep us updated till we get out of this horrible situation we are in !

Never applied for PR before. I'm a Web Designer.

Nothing at all , I actually met my lawyer yesterday and she told me that CIC is focusing on other things (classes ) now , and that this is a transitioning time due to elections results , so everything is going slower.

It's not looking good for us , apparently CIC will focus somewhere else to satisfy Justin Trudeau commitments to bring 25000 Syrian refugees.

I understand that the refugees need immediate help and I would do the same either (humanitarian basis). However, the fairness may be questionable if we will be set aside for awhile just to satisfy the eye of the public.

We're FSWs with strong credentials that Canada needs too
