Do you know why it took them so long?
As long as I know, the maximum processing time for EE is 12 months.

I ordered GSCM notes and it seems like the background check went into some trouble (which I can't see in the notes) and got cancelled after 6 months then the CIC ordered a fresh background check again in March.

wow! That's brutal!
Most of the delays seems to be because of the BG check issues...

Please correct me if I am wrong but it looks like you're a paper-based (non-express entry) applicant. As I can see your AOR date is 6 May and the IELTS request is 25th of May. Is it a mistake or, it's because your previous IELTS was expired and there was a new request? Please clarify.
