Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

We are ignored to them. I am completing 10 months, but security, eligibility , criminality not started.

We are the real unlucky lot of Express Entry ...I am into my 12th Month now ...Background Check in progress since 13th Jan 2016 ....as per GCMS notes ..all sections passed and file is ready to be processed ..adding salt to my injury ...last month they asked me for fresh medicals ...!!

The most frustrating part is there is nothing we can do ....just call them...mail them ...or raise CSE ..for which they respond with mass mailer type answer ...I used to think that only Indian Government Officers have got this lackadaisical attitude...but to my utter dismay ...Canadian Officials are no different breed !!

But as I said ...there is nothing we can do ...just wait ...wait ...wait ...and wait

Guys... whoever has local VO in their own country, for eg. NDVO, ADVO etc., go physically over there and bug them! Several times! That is what worked for me and a bunch of other South Africans here. Thankfully I didn't have to go too many times though. In Pretoria they only agree to see people personally one day in a month. So I went twice. In 2 months. And it worked. It is almost like..... they WANT you to go beg. Those who didn't go personally and stand on their heads are still waiting for their PPR over here.

As for those with Ottawa as VO, I really don't know what you can do apart from repeated and persistent phone calls. But try both the 111113 menu option and the other Express Entry option also in their automated response system.

#178 days from AOR. In couple of days I will be eligible to join this group....Sad but reality now

What is your medical status says in cic ? Did they extend it ?

Thanks for this tip. So did you just show up at the Canadian High Commission, or did you have to make an appointment first? If the latter, it would be predicated on whether they agree to such visits in the first place...

So far in this thread, I found that the longest time that one has to wait is 14.5 months. Does anyone has to wait more than this.
Mine is 8 months and 5 days, hope that i wont break the above unwanted record.
