Not to create any negative sentiments but can you briefly talk about the 3 cases that got rejected after DM ?

Did the applicants came to know about that sooner or was it a wait of 1-2 weeks?... that is sadistic

From what I can remember, it happened fairly quickly after the DM. I believe 2 were because of a job letter issue, it didn't specifically say it was for a permanent position. I can't remember the other one, sorry.
Seriously, I wouldn't stress too much because it does seem to be really rare to get rejected at this point.

Caimi, I know exactly how it feels. Its by email for me and it says "Ready for Visa"

You're welcome! My subject line was "Ready For Visa - Prêt Pour Visa" and it was from CPC-CTD-Ottawa. I got it sent directly to my email address. It was only sent to my email directly and was never sent to the myCIC account.
The next and last time I got an email from myCIC, was after I sent in my pictures and passport info. About two days after my package arrived in Ottawa, I got a ghost mail. I went to my account and my status was updated to app closed and final decision approved.

I got the Ghost email this morning too. But not DM yet. I believe (rather hope!!) it will happen tomorrow.

Hi, I need a quick response for a buddy of mine if possible, he is applying under CEC and had 890 points, CIC have requested a charracter reference from Germany as he was there on business years ago for three years, even though on the CIC website it states you need to be living in that country for 6 months or more, anyway, CIC requested this sept 1st, he sent it off sept 2nd and has not heard back yet, we know Germany received the letter but CIC want it back by Oct 1st, do CIC give extensions and for how long??
Any advice will be great please!!
