WoW!! that's good to know - I didn't know that it is done by a walk in, that's very convenient more than driving to a boarder..... so technically I could do this on Tuesday the 22nd of September! I live already in Ottawa! but can you do this even if you are from a visa country? Some people said that since you have a different visa now you have to leave the country and come back so that's why people choose to cross the boarder

Thanks again and enjoy your new status!
You are perfectly eligible to land even if ur from visa required country. So all the best for ur landing on 22nd September. Just have one ID card for address proof in ottawa incase they ask for.

I know the waiting game is killing but hopefully it is for good! FSW program seems to move slower than CEC - but sometimes no news is good news, trust me!

Good Luck 8)

still waiting.... still in process.... am I the only one left now???? :o :o :o
Vancitychris, I know the wait can be really tough. It took me 149 days to receive PPR. Yours is just about the same time, except you were also asked extra documents and to pay RPRF which may delay it a few days. But I am quite positive that you will hear good news this week or at most next week. With RPRF paid, you are around the corner to receive PPR. :)

Got an update today. I was asked to submit Sched A for my husband.

Thank you all! Finally GOT PPR :)

PS. I also requested GCMS notes on 10th August and have not received those yet either

I got a PPR yesterday - 14 September.
But at the end of August I get married, so CIC wrote a second mail to me yesterday, to disregard their mail and do not send a passport until they didn't check my spouse etc. I got a Spouse (marriage) questionnaire to fill out.

Congrats for all those getting their PPRs etc and thank you to everyone for the positive words about my situation, its hard to keep positive when waiting for so long....

did my daily check on Mycic .. it said updated! no updates though...

that's got to be a good sign right?

Yes! Go check your ECAS account. I got the ghost email from MyCIC and then my ECAS was changed to DM. You are close!
