Not a good news for me. I would need either the 2nd AOR or ideally the PPR ASAP or I will have to stop working once they reject my BOWP...
You should get your PPR any day as you are one of the early applicants. Are you single applicant?

Hello all,

This may already have been answered, and i apologise for repeating, but 1) does anyone have any idea how long it may take to receive PPR after a Schedule A submission? 2) Have seen any applications being cancelled after a Schedule A request? 3) What is the general average time in receiving your passport after PPR?

I am travelling in 3 weeks and am nervous about my timelines right now!

Thank you

Nobody can actually tell how long exactly it will take to receive PPR after your submit additional papers. It can be a week after your submission if everything is good or it can even be a rejection if the papers are not as needed.

PPR can be as fast as 1 week to several months as I have seen for some people on here.

Ok i thought it only fair I join and post my journey. I found this forum late but it has been so helpful I thought I would add to it and say thanks to all the hard work of the regular posters.

I applied through express entry under FSW route. My application was accepted on April 14th 2015. I received the 1st AOR April 15th. Then absolutely no movement to June 25th and then a request for CELPIP Certificate.

At this point my work visa was within 4 months of expiry so despite not having a 2nd AOR I applied for a BWOP knowing it will be rejected if they process before I receive the 2nd AOR but the timescales were 90 days and they are no 112 and only currently processing work visa extensions from April. I waited to 2 weeks ago until I got so fed up waiting for the 2nd AOR I wrote to my local MP and explained I had waited nearly 4 months and not received this stinking letter and without it come October 2nd when my current work visa expires I could not work if they failed to process my residency. I also sent a complaint to Ottawa office threatening legal action tantamount to fraud and going to the media. I know they say 6 months but waiting 4 months for a letter of eligibility is unacceptable and would effect my ability to stay in Canada and work and I was not prepared to be kicked out after spending thousands of dollars due to CIC incompetence.

Wow have things changed in 2 weeks. I got a request to pay my RPRF fees and submit only the 1st page of schedule A form on the 4th August. At the same time my Ecas changed to application in process. Ghost email received 11th August 9am and PPR letter and request to send passport today at 9am. Also no bio form and I'm from England so do require a visa. I aim to send my passport Friday with photos. I do not intend to Send a bio form as they have not requested one. I am going to cancel my BWOP and will get a full refund as they have not even close started to process it and have 6 weeks for them to stamp my passport before my work visa expires which even for the CIC seems enough time.

In summary, don't take any shit you have paid thousands of dollars for these applications and if like me your work visa is due to expire then kick up a fuss, your MP can and will contact CIC on your behalf. I don't know whether this did much or whether as it appears they have just started processing April FSW applications but try everything you can. As a side note my whole file has been processed without ever receiving the 2nd mythical AOR. Also my Ecas status contains only 3 lines none of which state anything about PPR being offered and my CIC still shows the following; Eligibility-review in progress. Medicals- passed. Background check- in progress.
Final decision- not started.

However I don't care about any of that now as I did receive the the passport request and the following opening statement in the pdf

"The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email and include the details of your situation"

So I am one happy man tonight finally. Keep fighting the fight people!! And thanks to everyone on here for your help!

Ya single applicant, only one job, NOC code matches easily with proper employment letter, in Canada since 18. Completed my application as complete as I could...

One worries I had though was I didn't receive my 1st AOR until 2 months after submitting my application. Hopefully there wasn't any glitch in my application and I wouldn't be delayed because of this. My GCMS notes did indicate movement (initiating background checks, file transfer to CPC-Ottawa, etc.) a couple days after my submission date.

It says on the letter you need to see if your visa exempt or not. They provide the link to the website but click this link below and it will tell you if you require a visa. If yes then you send passport if not then scanned copies...
