After getting 3 different CIC agents over the phone, my PR application is STILL pending final decision, even though displayed on ECAS as "Decision Made".
The last (
and for sure most experienced) agent clarified that "Decision Made" can mean several DIFFERENT things but is NOT a final decision so to speak.
ONLY direct communications from CIC are final, not what's displayed on ECAS or MyCIC (which makes sense when you think about the so many different ways that ECAS and MyCIC update themselves from one applicant to another). So basically, "Decision Made" means waiting for final communication from CIC which is either
rejection or approval.
In my specific case, no final decision has been yet reached (
hence why I didn't receive PPR) :-\ And the wait goes ON...
