Case Closed and Refused, MyCIC shows Review of Eligibility failed/ Med Passed/ add Doc Provided/ BGCK blank/ Interview Blank/ Final Decision Refused

Phoned CIC and told to wait for the Letter, rep said sent yesterday but haven't received, possibility of 5 calendar days delay, no details shared whatsoever.

Will Wait and see, maybe some action afterwards.

not mad, not upset, but confused, Will come back to forum for fully update

March 27 ITA. had 509 points. Eligible for both CEC and FSW, but the ITA was under FSW.

Wow, sorry things turned out this way for you. I have to say, it's impressive the way you are handling it. Thank you for volunteering to comeback and to let us know what happened. I hope there's something in the letter that let's you reopen your application.

I hate to add more confusion to the mix. And i am pretty sure the CIC website and the ECAS for me will get updated. However received a PPR from CIC.

My Status on MyCIC or ECAS is still the same as before.

MyCIC:

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
A final decision has been reached Not Started

ECAS: Status: Application Received

We received your application for permanent residence on February 4, 2015.
We started processing your application on February 4, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

No update on either but got the PPR message on MyCIC earlier in the morning.

Timeline:

AOR: 10th April
Medical Passed: 12th May
Background check in progress: 12th May (same time as medical)
PPR: 8th July

No Additional documents were requested. I submitted by IELTS score in the initial application package as an additional document. Was not asked for the RCMP clearance either.

Applying from within Canada. Currently on a PGWP expiring in May 2016, working in Toronto.

Anyone Else having issues with their ECAS today?

I was doing my morning ritual of checking myCIC and ECAS - No changes in myCIC but I cannot access ECAS. I could access it until last night.
Last I checked ECAS was on 'Application Received'.

I'm freaking out right now. ???

So sad to hear about your situation uncle_smile!! It is really unfair that CIC takes forever to refuse an application and then doesn't even tell them the reason immediately.. I really hope you can re-open your case!! Good luck..

Sorry about that - do you know that you can appeal in the court?? If you decided to do so, you have to do it within 15 days of the refusal - the problem is that you don't have the letter yet so you don't know what the reasons are to decide if you can appeal!

Again, this is really frustrating and heartbreaking - we all share your pain and hopefully things will turn around for your favor soon!
Keep us posted with the reasons, maybe we can help sort it out!
