SOP must be your own original work. If people send you their work and you copy it, both applications may be rejected. Not worth the risk...

I really do not understand people who ask for this -- the SOP is the single document that ties your application together and gives it meaning. It has to reflect the reality of your life, that is hinted at in various other official forms. Using someone else's is like building a house with a unique shape and then buying a pre-made roof from your neighbour's house and trying to nail it on. Here are the things that an SOP has to contain:

1) an explanation for why you want to study in the program you have been accepted to. Don't say that it is your lifelong ambition to study in Canada, explain why you want to learn those things.

2) How the program fits with what you have already learned.

3) How you will use it. There had better be a reason why the proposed degree will be more useful to you than a local one.

4) Why you will be an honest student and leave if you have to. Do not swear that staying has never crossed your mind and you did not know such a vile act was possible.

5) Why you are considering Canada in the first place.

6) Something that indicates your willingness to work with the process, provide any information that might be needed, etc. etc.

hi i have one question...i am submitting the colege fee in next two days.....
can not go for GIC as the last date of it is 15 Nov...and i have to apply under general......


PLEASE advice what all things i have to take care so that i did not miss on my visa.............please help
