SirMichael said:Ok, you order gcms notes. And what?
You can't influence anything or push officers to get to your application faster.
SirMichael said:Yes, for the sake of nerves saving
But in reality the situation is backloged with the refugees from Syria.
FSW and other programs are secondary now, unfortunately.
Today is the last day of my six months' wait since AOR. No DM, no PPR.
Called my lawyer and she said she will be contacting CIC tomorrow but other people (outlanders) are practically in the same position. While calling CIC for specific cases people are telling her that the wait period has been extended from 6 to 12 months.
Thanks SirMichael. I wish you all the bestSirMichael said:Congrats, Pathfinder2!

after more than six and a half months of AOR and over 3 and a half months of in process (I still don't have DM
). Anyways, just hang in there guys. It's tough but it's worth it. I had some good advice on this forum, especially from Deccan and Anya. Desperation had gotten hold of me for the last month and half or so but participating in the forums made it less so I guess.

Best wishes for a new life in Canada![]()
