so frustrated :( 31 days after DM, still no PPR for me.

darphil .. 31 days is definitely too long a period. u should hear something this week i guess

i hope so :( 31 days are too much. call centre agents are not so helpful. i spent most of my time checking my email. i can't sleep properly because of this terrible wait.

Hey guys,

I got the ghost email on 23rd Oct and DM on 24th. Can someone tell me what happens next? I have read people saying they got ppr but where do I check for it? Will I receive an email or will it come through ecas/mycic?

You're almost at the finish line, skar!

PPR is sent via email. It'll come from CPC-CRD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and the subject line will read "Ready for Visa - Prêt Pour Visa". That email will give you all the instructions for where to send your passport, requirements for photos, etc.

Good luck!

Deccan,

I see my Details sections of my Application as "Updated" instead of "Submitted". Did anyone have seen anything like this?
No change in ECAS status. and no change in MYCIC

That's exactly what happened with me and I believe Akhuttan reported something along the same lines.

Got a ghost email a day or so after this change in myCIC. After that, I got a message asking for FBI PCC. Then, a week later, DM followed by PPR the following day.

I think your application will be resolved soon. Good luck!

I am hoping for a favorable decision. Do you guys know if anyone got rejected after DM? I am almost at the end of my 6 month timeline.

Hi everyone!

I applied for in-land spousal application in February 2015 under the family class (I don't think it was express entry). I received the AoR email in May 2015. My status on ECAS currently says application received. However it has been more than 5 months since the AoR email and I haven't heard from CIC. I don't see any updates on ECAS either.

1) Shouldn't it say 'application under review/in process' now? If yes, what should I do?

2) How long has it taken other February applicants and what is the status of their applications?

3) I stayed in the US last year from July 4th till Dec 29, 2014 so it was technically a week less than 6 months. I din't send a US police certificate hence with my PR application and now am wondering if I should get one. Should I ? or should I wait for CIC to ask for it although in that case it would delay processing by 4 months (since US police certificates apparently take 4 months nowadays)

4) Once I get a police certificate, should I wait for CIC to ask for it or should I just send it(if yes, at what address?)

I am really worried now! Any info would be highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

I think you are in a wrong forum, may be you have to ask this question in Family Sponsorship forum. 80% of the applications under express entry will be processed in six months that's why you will find most of the application's status in process here in express entry

2) How long has it taken other February applicants and what is the status of their applications?

Again consult Family Sponsorship forum.

3) I stayed in the US last year from July 4th till Dec 29, 2014 so it was technically a week less than 6 months. Technically, If you provided copies of passport pages containing Entry and Exit stamps (July 4th and Dec 29, 2014) to CIC then CIC should not ask for FBI PCC. Because it is clearly mention on CIC website for obtaining PCC from territories where you spent six or more than six months. If not then they may ask FBI PCC. It takes 11 to 13 weeks plus mailing time to get FBI PCC.

4) Once I get a police certificate, should I wait for CIC to ask for it or should I just send it(if yes, at what address?)

You should wait for CIC instructions.

I am really worried now! Any info would be highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!
