Let's keep the faith

Hey guys s my spouse called the CIC call center to find out the decision after we got DM yesterday. the agent wont give us any details until 6 months have passed. I know people like Dobes have managed to get the decision information from the agents. Any suggestions here on how to get this info?

Wow, even a ghost e-mail would be reassuring at this point. I don't break easily but this is getting to me now. The stress in unbelievable. Have my heart and fingers crossed, absolutely no update :) Thanks a lot for being there though guys :)

Hang in there, mate. I hear you. Even a wee bit of hint that they're doing something--anything--with our application would be welcome relief. On the other hand, I have to hope that no news is perhaps good news--at least application hasn't been rejected...yet.

Sending positive thoughts your way and to everyone here.

This is just nuts..I am wondering why would CIC put us in Decision Made status without giving us any info what is the decision. PPR can wait, at least with change in status to DM, CIC could have updated the profile to say: Eligibility Passed or Failed or DM - Positive. I am finding it nerve wrecking and not a smart way to handle application from CIC's part. :o

I just saw my CIC application changed from submitted to updated about half hour back, now it has gone back to submitted (might be because I open my application), but I don't/didn't see any changes in the application status, remains at

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
A final decision has been reached Not Started

Hi Guys..

I'm in land FSW invited on 17th APR..submitted on 15th May.

Please advice on this question;: when i submitted my PR application, I put in the money in my account just one day before 12000 dollars. and got a letter from the bank on the letter head with current balance,

But i did not provid the last 6 months average balance and credit card debt details(though i don't have more than 1000 of debt)

do you think this is going to be a problem.??

I just now got a permanent job with good salary. and my application looks to be in Ottawa office (assuming all the Aug 14 IP files are there only. )

Should I send a CSE with my new Job offer letter?? will this CSE be updated to my file in Ottawa center??

any advice would be appreciated!!

thanks

Assumption: you are in Canada.

My saving was split between two accounts and transferred all the money in one account before I got the abstract on my account stating my current saving balance, credit card debt and also any other loans that I have with the bank. It is better to make sure that everything is stated in one abstract which makes it easy for the CIC officer to assess.

As you stated you have a salaried job which is similar to my situation, you can add a letter of explanation at the beginning of your financial proof explaining that your source of income is $$/month before tax and $$/year which is sufficient to support your family in Canada. Please add you T4 and letter of employment with at least last two months pay-stubs to full proof your claim. While explaining your financial condition mention about the T4, letter of employment and pay-stubs that you have added as proof.

Saying all that, it is better to have all your money in your account for at least couple of month before getting the abstract.

I will suggest you to send the new document as amendment to your previously submitted documents.

I hope this help.

You had better send your 6 months bank statements now via CSE as this is a very important requirement.
