If the mail you received says your mycic account has been "updated" and not you have "new message" in mycic account. So the update is with regards to your background check in mycic going to "in progress" from "not needed at this time".

Hey it could be because of system glitch if none of your parameters in mycic has changed. But from my experience so far I have not received a ghost mail. The mail is either "your mycic account has been updated" or " you have new message in your mycic account". If it is the first then I have had one of the parameters changed and with the later I have had a message.

Anyways there is a movement in our application which is good sign that we are getting closer to the result.

Does anybody know the reason why they request an additional Schedule A from so many of us when all of the background information is already in our online application?

They do it when there are questions or uncertainty.

This has never been requested from me - my understanding was both IELTS/CELPIP have a database accessible to CIC and all the officer has to do is type the IELTS/CELPIP # provided in the e-AOR to bring up your results...or am I completely wrong here?

I am confused. This says they started processing it on June 2, that is hardly possible cause they sent me Schedule A request on June 9th.

What does this In Process for ECAS mean for me? That the application was submitted complete?

How does one know that they have been proved eligible?
I am on restoration so I do not know if they will send me a Letter (AOR). Cause I may not be eligible for BOWP while on restoration.


Important question : Do they ask for RCMP request AFTER the application goes "in process"?

They can check ... and they ask for it anyway. It may be a way of corroborating data, or it may be that they don't want to bother.
