Hi guys!
I hope you have a great week!
I just wanted to share with you my experience doing the landing.
I did it yesterday around 4 - 4.30 pm in the Rainbow Bridge (Niagara Falls).
I walked to US, got my passport reviewed by the US Border Agent, received a letter stating that I did not enter the US, and went back to Canada.
First, a Borders agent checks your passport and the letter, gives you a form and tells you to go to the next building.
An officer welcomes you, takes your passport, the form and the US letter and tells you to take a seat.
About 15 minutes later, another officer called my name, only requested my Landing Document, filled it in with some information, told me to read it, put my initials and sign it if everything was right, and that was it! Welcome to Canada, you are a Permanent Resident.
They did not ask for ANYTHING else. Being a FSW Inland, I brought bank statements, employment letter, all my previous passports, study permit, work permit, EVERYTHING, but it was fast and easy.
I have heard before that this is not the best place to do the landing, but in my experience it was PERFECT. Not even half an hour from the moment I opened the door to go to US.
Hope this is useful for all of you and you all have the same experience I had yesterday
Good luck for all!
