i have done my additional sputum and xray..i can send the result only after 6 to 8 months...anyone is waiting for result to be sent to london chc?

hi Sherin,

I had the standard PA xray and they werent satisfied with the result, my DMP asked me to do the lateral Xray and the findings came out as normal. But after a month, I got a request from the embassy to do the lordotic xray , radiologist read it as normal and was sent to the embassy. Third later came in after a month, requesting for chest xray, focus on midlung. I decided to comply with both tests to speed up the process. The xray result came out normal but the ct scan revealed I had calcified granuloma. My DMP said the cause might be from other infections but they cannot rule out previous TB infection, hence the AFB(Acid fast bacteria) and sputum TB culture. The TB culture will take you 45 to 60 days for the result. I am in good health and have no signs or symptoms of having TB.

My sputum test will be due on June 15, still thats exactly 60 days. I am positive that we will get PPR. The processing just got delayed because of additional medical clearance.

you are going to get your ppr this time...i am 100 % sure...all the very best...i hav e also done xray and sputum test.my result will be coming at the end of next month.i had a taken a xray befor the sputum test. xray was fine.any way pls lemme knoew the result

i had a problem little different from the topic,there was some problem with mine urine sample so the dmp asked me to come two days later but i went home and consulted my family doctor who got my urine samples checked in detail and we found that some traces of rbc were there so he suggested a ultrasound to check whether there were any stone but they were not found in ultrasound so there was nothing serious found in it.Then i went to the dmp again for urine samples the nurse over there said that traces are still there but at lower level so dont worry

The results for the culture were all no growth and for the afb it was all negative. I am now waiting for my PPR.
