Yes, I applied last year as FSW under 3152 in my own assessment got 7o points but according to CIO who reviewed my documents I didn't reach the passing mark which is 67 , I only got 65 based on the credentials that they have .. 20 for education 14 for English proficiency 10 for age 21 for working experience and 0 for adaptability . My bro lives in Canada i sent the photocopy of his PR card and the envelop that they used to send their resident card which state their address and the stamp of Canada's post including the date but sad to say 0 points were given to me. That's the story behind that even though I got rejected I told to my self that next year will be my year that's why I decided to re apply I sent 1 kilo of documents and half of it is the supporting documents of my brother like notice of assessment , telephone bills , credit card bills, health care ID, Social Security ID , his marriage contract his birth certificate, Permanent resident card ID, ... Hopefully and I'm praying that everything will be fine and flow smoothly according to my plans. I know everyone is not safe because of some issue like problem with CC or BD , Cio officer can mis look some documents coz their human they can commit mistakes, even though you have your visa you can be rejected to enter Canada's port of entry coz of some issue with immigration officer, things like those so I hope everything will be ok.

that's the spirit! we should never give up even if we've been denied once or twice, just keep on pursuing our dreams, way to go!!! ;)

Hi Snipper,

Wat does "NER (not again)" mean? Did you get an NER before? Can u share the reason they gave a negative.

NER means negative eligibility review. There are different reasons why they give NER, it could be because

* your job occupation didnt match with their in demand 29 occupations,
* you didnt meet the passing mark
* your fund is not enough
etc

hi...can anyone help me with information of who should my HR address while issuing the forwarding letters?

is it "CIO, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada"??

'TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN' should be good enough as the title of the page.

thanks for suggestion...but my hr does not give to whom it may concern...they always address to someone....so what address should be mentioned?

I guess then you may use the CIO, Sydney, NS, Canada as you said earlier. There should not be any problem.

Dear All,

I am from India and please I need to know two things urgently:

- Can I use my 10th class certificate as Birth Certificate? (I was born in 1970 & they did not make birth certificates those days. Even Delhi VO accepted Matriculation Certificate as DOB proof)

- If yes, do I need to also include some affidavit? (Anyone can help me with the contents please of the Affidavit?)

- Is PCC a must to be sent to CIO right now? Can we send later?

Please reply,,
Good Luck to all !!

Some say 'yes' and some say 'no'. I have the same issue. I live in USA. I am sending a notarized copy of 10th certificate, affidavit from parents, proof of birth letter from consulate general of India in USA (CGI- they look at your passprt and give the letter)

- If yes, do I need to also include some affidavit? (Anyone can help me with the contents please of the Affidavit?)
will send you the format through personal message

PCC to be sent to CIO is highly recommended but not must. However, you should be prepared to send it when the VO asks for it.Please reply,,
Good Luck to all !!

"TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN" will do

I think its better to write " To whom it may concern" (on my experience letters, all employers wrote this text)

If your company does not write, this doest not make much difference, i think any of the following 3 will fulfill ur requirement
a) Canadian High Commission or
b) Canadian Immigration Office or
c) Centralized Intake Office, Canada

(By the way on my bank certificate and University Transcript, they marked "Canadian High Commission")

You can check more in this regard
