Hello Group,
Does software developers qualify for FSW after the July 01, 2011 new calssifications? Will it help if we show teh experience as Prject Leader/Managers in software jobs. What are the best bets for IT guys like us now.

Hi Snippier

I have almost 3 years experience as a clinical instructor. So that means I don't have to put that "volunteer thing experience" because the documentation guide says unpaid work is not counted? Besides, the hospital gave me a training certificate, not an employment certificate on that. So I could count only on my 3 years clinical instructorship experience. Correct me if I am wrong on that one.

Thanks for the ideas.

FrancisC

hi again snipper,

Thanks for taking the time answering my queries. My dilemma now is the NBI clearance. I don't have one yet because I thought then that I could get one in just a day. unfortunately, NBI changed their system, and in the meantime, there is a delay of 10 days (more if I have a namesake who has a record). The documentation guide says they encourage to submit it with the application, however if not possible, I may submit later when requested by the visa office (if of course I pass the first phase at the CIO). what do you think? Shall I submit the NBI clearance later rather than miss the quota by waiting further to get an NBI clearance?

Thanks again,

FrancisC

What?? regarding NBI you can take it for 1 day if you gonna renew it. yah if i were you submit it beside its ok if you dont have it coz last year its mandatory to have nbi with your application but they changed it. The visa office will ask you to submit it if needed..I knww someone got her PR visa without submitting nbi and shes in canada now,

Hi FrancisC,

Well at least we clarified that a clinical instructor is included in the 3152 category, sorry if i made you worry, I just need to check since we help each other here..don't you have your previous NBI clearance when you applied or the process was just really delayed now? As I said before it is advised to include it on your application but it is also stated that you can send your application without it. So you need to decide since each day that passes increase your the risk of not reaching the quota.

Goodluck to all Nurses!!

hello sushicat29,

by the way, my last NBI clearance expired years back then. and yes, it's a temporary delay because I heard they are changing their system (computers?). but nobody knows when it goes back to normal processing time. I called the NBI regional office in my area yesterday and they confirmed about the 10 days delay and remains that way until further notice. same announcement in their website.

thanks again,
