THOSE APPLYING AFTER 26 JUNE 2010 NEED TO SEND ALL DOC TO CIO ?

Do we have to send all supporting documents also like Degrees copies, Bank statement, Police certificate etc etc also along with our initial forms to CIO Sydney Canada ?

Some people are saying only change is u have to attach IELTS results but i am giving feference to few pages,so experts and seniors can have a look and guide us..

1. for example in http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf ,its written on page 17 " All applicants must submit police certicates /clearances to the CIO as part of the application process".

" 3. Supporting documents
The additional documents requested in Appendix A of the Visa Office specific forms, are required when you submit your application to the CIO."

See No 9. Why are you eliminating the simplified application?

Since we changed to the simplified application we've noticed a significantly higher number of applicants withdraw when asked for their supporting documents, or full application. By eliminating the simplified application and asking for all the documentation at once, we will make processing more efficient. Eliminating the simplified application shaves 120 days off the total processing time, because this is the time we allowed applicants to send in their supporting documents.


Please Help as i am confused.

I am not expert, but yes, you must send "copies" of all documents in visa office checklist to CIO during initial application in addition to documents on CIO checklist. IELTS and Police certificates also.

I am not confused between whether to send copies or originals but which documents i have to send to CIO with my 1st initial forms ?

Previously one used to send only initial forms to CIO and later on he needed to send supporting documents to visa office. But now we have to send IELTS score plus Police certificate,m sure about this, But do i have to send copies of my degrees,transcripts,Bank statement as Proof of Fund etc etc also ? Please help.

All documents on CIO checklist. On the CIO checklist, they ask for copies of all documents on CHC checklist.

So basically, you send everything you used to send to CIO before rules changed + IELTS and police certificates + copies of all documents on visa office checklist.
