1. Send an e-mail to studentgic @ scotiabank.com saying that you are interested in purchasing GIC
2. They will reply by sending you an application form. download and fill the application.
also attach your passport (full) copy with sign on each page and offer letter and make all 3 sets (application form + passport xerox copy + offer letter)
into one PDF file and mail to newaccount @ scotiabank.com
3. They will reply you within 5 working days saying register in scotia bank (they will send the link)
4. After registering into scotia bank you will get another mail regarding wire transfer details and IP reference number.
5. pay the amount suggested ($ 10,050 CAD). they will send you certificate which should be enclosed for VISA.
6. If you get VISA then fly to canada and go to nearest scotia bank and activate your account by showing your passport and IP reference number.
7. If you fail to get VISA then you can mail them to refund your money and they will return after checking and about $ 50 CAD will be
deducted and remianing amount will be sent to your account.
