I came to Canada on july 2019 on a visitor visa and I got a job illegally where i worked till february 2020. During that time I left Canada twice to vist my family in my homecountry and then came back to Canada. The two times I return to Canada after visiting my family I never mentioned I was working because I knew it was illegal. But since march I stoped working and I moved with my boyfriend, we got married, we want to stay together and he wants to sponsor me.

I know even if you worked illegally you still can be sponsored. But I am really afraid that because the two times i left Canada and came back I never mention I was working illegally, even when they ask me what activities I was doing in Canada and I read when you lie or hide facts that can be considered misrepresentation and I could be ban from Canda for 5 years. I want to submit the application and tell the truth, but I am also afraid to be separed from my husband and have to be outside the country for 5 years. Have someone know if this will consider misrepresentation even if I tell the truth. Anyone have some experience similar?

Be honest now. It's up to them if they consider it misrepresentation, personally i doubt they will, but the fact you've come clean before they've discovered it themselves will really really help your cause.
