This ECAS status is very confusing, please help!

My timeline is on the left. Medical done 1 month ago but still no updates on ecas. CIC confirmed that they received my medical results.

Here is my ecas status:
We received your application for permanent residence on September 15, 2014.
We started processing your application on January 30, 2015.

We sent you a letter on October 21, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

The bold line is very confusing as I have never receive a letter from CIC. Let me know if any of you got similar status. Thanks!

Check with the call Center...Have you applied BOWP...it might be related to that also...You never know CIC can mess-up anything..

Thanks for the quick advice.

Call center is not very helpful and I basically rely on emails to communicate with CIC, that's how I confirmed my medical status.
I did not apply for BOWP but I applied for a GCMS note sometime before Oct 2015, but never receive a letter from CIC.

Strange, did you find out what it is, when did this 3rd line appear? so you have no lines about medicals received?

Nope and it seems that nobody has received such a "letter" so far. The 3rd line was shown approximately a month after Oct 21, 2015. No medical received status on ecas but I was able to confirm by email with CIC.

I'ts been exactly 41 days since the medical result submission, what about you, any updates?

Nope and it seems that nobody has received such a "letter" so far. The 3rd line was shown approximately a month after Oct 21, 2015. No medical received status on ecas but I was able to confirm by email with CIC.

Nope no updates here. Hoping my Medicals will be uploaded in next couple days.

Meet too, I check it every half an hour. It is getting wierder, my ecas added a new line (bold) today but it does not make any sense.

I got the same extra line today lol.

I went into my MPs office and they followed up with CIC for me in less than 24 hours. The news was not good but still news nonetheless. My file had been picked up for review 2 days ago. Supposedly, eligibility, security and criminality all still pending, which is strange because it's been 19 months and I have completed medicals and paid RPRF. I assume it is second review and hopefully a quick one.

Have you tried contacting CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic . gc . ca?

Let them know that you have not received anything in mail. Once CPC is aware of it, not having responded to the mail - whatever it is - would not jeopardize your application.

Did they say why you are under 2nd review or why it has been transferred?

She said that there were apparently heaps of applicants who applied under CEC that were not actually eligible. Therefore, it has slowed down the processing time for everyone because they have to review every application before determining if they are eligible or not. This has also resulted in second reviews, for my cases like myself (people who are actually eligible), to ensure eligibility was definitely passed.

To be clear, my MP rep is assuming this is a second review, as opposed to a first eligibility review. I also have a feeling this is what has happened, because there is just no way they sent me a medical request, without having passed some sort of eligibility after 19 months. I am hoping it's just a final review. But hey, who knows what happens over there.

They did say to call back within a month. I don't believe you can get your case details unless you are beyond the processing timeline, in which case I am. It has been 19 months, the timeline is 17.

Yes, I did. CIC told me that everything is fine so far and they will ask me for additional docs if needed.

The problem is that I have never receive such a letter from CIC besides some emails, then I got my medical request on Jan 24th 2016, no updates since then.

Yea no worries, happy to provide as much info as possible. Here are my timelines:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 18, 2014.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 10, 2014.
We started processing your application on December 10, 2014.
We sent you correspondence on January 21, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
Medical results have been received.

I received my Medical request Jan 21. I completed my medical on Jan 26 . My medicals received line appeared on Feb 15. I paid the accidental RPRF mass email on Jan 18. I also sent RCMP fingerprints up front on Dec 9 2015. I had 3 NOC codes, 4163, 1223, 0112
