Hi,

I have recevied the account details one month back but unfortunately the account detail mail got deleted from the webmail link. now i have sent a mail to scotia bank to mail the password. its been 11 days now and still i haven't received the mail.

Can anybody knows what should be done in such case,

Post the account details. i have to wire transfer the money as well. is it possible for such a short span of time

When u delete a mail from ur inbox it automatically goes to trash folder ... It still could be there check trash folder (atleast in gmail)

Transferring from ur own account is better then using any third party money transfer services ... Scotiabank also prefer transferring from own account....

Then its better to keep sending follow up mails ... U dont have any other option like me
U still have time soo keep trying...

applied for new account 7 june ,2013
got account details 20 june,2013
did wire transfer 21 june 13
waited for 10 days then sent a follow up with wire transfer receipt on 2nd July
got a reply from scotiabank 4th july

" Dear Applicant,

Further to your query, we haven't received your funds as of today (4th July 2013) and hence the GIC has not been issued. The GIC will be issued within 3 business days upon receipt of funds in your account."

again sent a mail with wire transfer receipt 5th july
i personally called scotiabank they replied that bank will reply you through mail.

nothing after that

its been 20 days and still waiting for GIC certificate. My college is starting from 19 aug not in sept soo i have very less time left.

everything is ready since last 15 days except this f**king GIC.
i have no idea what should i do now...

By lookin at all of urs xpriences, the duration which the scotia bank is takin to send the details of transfer is worrying me....I applied on 10th july 2013 as I hv to file for the visa bfore 1st aug. I don't think I m goin to make it on time .....+ wen u guys r telling dat even aftr da transfr there is delay 4rm da bank in giving GIC certificate..... :'(

Wow!

I thought I was the only one with this kinda case I have the admit for technical communication program from Seneca, have paid my first semester fees, but Scotiabank has not replied to my original application that I sent on 6th July. I'm freaking out, cuz I still have to get the account number, transfer funds, get the certificate and then apply for Visa. And if we cross the cut off date, then all the efforts are fuitle.

I have also sent a follow up email to Scotiabank and I look for a reply every single minute in the day, middle of the night, every damn second But no good yet.

Their website says that the delay is due to a large incoming volume of applications and they want the applicants to have patience. To top it all they strictly mention not to send unnecessary follow up mails I have no clue what to do!!
