this delay is killing me ....GIC issue

applied for new account 7 june ,2013
got account details 20 june,2013
did wire transfer 21 june 13
waited for 10 days then sent a follow up with wire transfer receipt on 2nd July
got a reply from scotiabank 4th july

" Dear Applicant,

Further to your query, we haven't received your funds as of today (4th July 2013) and hence the GIC has not been issued. The GIC will be issued within 3 business days upon receipt of funds in your account."

again sent a mail with wire transfer receipt 5th july
i personally called scotiabank they replied that bank will reply you through mail.

nothing after that

its been 20 days and still waiting for GIC certificate. My college is starting from 19 aug not in sept soo i have very less time left.

everything is ready since last 15 days except this f**king GIC.
i have no idea what should i do now...

no...GIC is must for spp visa application
GIC increases the chances of getting visa

yes ....my bank is also saying that transaction was successful .

i did 2 wire transfer on the same day one for my college fee and the other one is for GIC from my personal account ....first one is received by my college within 24 hours but not the other one as per the scotiabank people and i double checked every detail everything seems right.
and the same thing happened with soo many other students , banks cant do that much mistakes.

I Transferred My Money From Western Union Money Transfer on June 10th

Sparky@ Yeah Scotia Is a bit lazy..Scotia Bank Is a correspondence bank.Money is not transferred direct in it...It is transferred via third bank ( In my case Royal Bank Of Canada) So It's a lengthy process n took a month for my funds to reach there..Hope i ll get the GIC Certificate before Wednesday Now..So do check atleast once that is your money reached at scotia or not..

If yes thenWait For Few More days.Hopefully we all will get our GIC's Before 21..
