This can be answered by someone who has renewed ECA from MCC.

I just went to the portal of physicianapply and paid the fee for renewal however I came across a text like "identity expired Oct 10, 2024" in Documents section. That's weird because my ECA was getting expired on Feb 18, 2025, much before the identity got expired.

However I am really worried now because I thought all I have to do is pay the fee and get renewed ECA.

Does anyone know about this? My ECA will come or do I have to do something else also?

Reason I am panicking is that I have only 30 days to submit my PR.

this was probably the expiry date of the passport you previously use as your identity document for the physicianapply account. you simply need to update your identity documents.
in your physicianapply account portal, go to the documents section in the left panel. in the new panel that opens up, look for 'update your certified identity documents'. it will be the last link.
