They updated generic application for canada this month!

Hi! We finally have everything ready to send tomorrow and i just noticed they updated this month the generic application form for canada.(008) I´m trying to check if i still can send the old one because it took almost 2 weeks to my husband to receive the signed forms in Canada even when i used Dhl. This is killing me

To be honest, you can probably get away with it as long as you get the application in immediately. Looking back, it seems that IRCC have allowed a small leeway. If they don't like it, they will return the application unprocessed but given that it's only the 6th you should be ok.
