I just wanna know is the area safe for kids walk to school by themselves, and is the area quite and clean.
I'm out of country this moment, and doing some research

Seems fairly reasonably priced for Vancouver which is always somewhat concerning.

Yeah, not a bad area. Lonsdale is popular, close to the seabus that will take you downtown. A handful of schools nearby..

Nice popular area with lots of amenities close by. The only negative is traffic and parking can be a problem on busy days.
Close to the ski hills and there are many interesting shops, restaurants in the waterfront area. (Lonsdale Quay)
