Hi Asivad

I earlier discussed with you about getting a gift from father (and has been discussed many times here). And we reached a conclusion that apart from a letter from dad, actual proofs of money transfer from dad's account to ours is very important. I have a question:

Apart from attaching proofs of transfer as discussed above, should we also attach the proofs of as to where from this money came to dad. For example, my dad got this amount disbursed into his salary account from his PF, do we need to get a letter from the office certifying this transfer from dad's PF account to his salary account, in order to watertight our case more?

That won't be required because that is a never-ending chain. Unless CIC explicitly asks you for source of your father's funds (which I'm fairly certain they won't), don't bother including that.
