Hello,

My cousin has completed the 5-year degree from Punjab University in Pharmacy.
WES evaluated degree as a Graduate 4-years.

will PEBC evaluate it any different?
will PEBC consider it Professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession?

If it is for Immigration purpose only then it can be evaluated by any ECA agency, but if it is for licensing purposes then it has to go through PEBC.

I have bachelor of pharamcy degree.. just my openion...

If you have experience as a pharmacisr or industrial phatmacist,,, than go for PEBC. That way you could claim extra points for it as a proffesional degree.

If you have experience in another field ,,, WES would suffice . However , you will only get point as normal bachelor degree.

This isn't necessarily true.
WES will give you the same points cos it's still a Pharmacy degree. The only difference will be that when it's time to practice you will have to restart the whole process with PEBC again.

Professional degrees such as MD, DMD or PharmD are not considered graduate degrees in canada, only general Masters and PhDs are.
Get a WES ECA only if your professional experience doesn't require licensing such as drug representative or industrial pharmacy job (jobs with no interaction with patient).
Get a PEBC ECA only if your professional experience requires licensing such as retail or hospital pharmacist (jobs with direct interaction with patients).
You will get your application denied if you don't get the correct ECA based on your claimed professional experience.
I did both because I got both experiences.
WES was very cheap and quick to get (2 weeks), PEBC was an expensive and long process (2-3 months) and more a pain because they required proof of licensing in your country and you need to have the application notarized, which is completely silly. You may have to take the equivalency exam before they can give you the ECA. I was waived the exam because I have a US PharmD.

You don't have to take the EE to get ECA.
You only have to do Doc eval process.
I have been practicing here for almost three years now.

I have done my ECA for my doctor of pharmacy degree from WES since I am working for Government and CIC offers choice of either WES or PEBC.
However, In the WES ECA report, it says:
Major: Pharmaceutical Sciences
Canadian Equivalent: Bachelor's degree ( four years )
With this ECA, what is my point for FSW 21 or 23 ?
It's creepy system, cz you get 23 points for the same degree if ECA is done through PEBC and 21 points if it's done through WES. Please correct me if I am wrong.
With 21 points I'm ineligible for FSW even though i have CRS score 410+.
In all threads, I see that with WES ECA for pharmacy, you receive only 21 points and 120 CRS.
I am very confused regarding this. I hope someone could clarify me.

It usually takes 8 weeks after receipt of documents and payment. In some cases, it takes shorter than that like 4-6 weeks. All the best.

Bachelor if its evaluated by WES. I did that and receive PPR with no issues.

PEBC is mandatory to claim extra points as professional degree. PEBC is also necessary if you work as a Pharmacist. For other occupations WES is sufficient.

PEBC issues ECA before equivalency exam (Evaluation examination), actually ECA is an additional report to your document evaluation for appearing in the exam. As per my knowledge, Pharmacy degree is only to be evaluated by PEBC, it is clearly mentioned it is the specific for Pharmacy degree. Better to go with PEBC.

Yes WES will give you only bachelors title and you will lose CRS score for Professional degree. If you feel your points are adequate to get ITA without PEBC then go for WES.
