Just wondering what everyone's plans are immediately after getting PR?

Will you celebrate by doing something crazy? Skydiving? Traveling to visit someone? Take some personal vacation time off?

Let's see what everyone's ideas are!

Just take a deep breath.

Many things. Most of it after landing.

I have a bottle of champagne ready in the fridge. I am opening that on the day I receive a PPR :)

After that comes the hard part: planning the move, budgeting, looking for a job...

Well, this is a good idea. I wish you get a chance to open that in 2016! I'll buy one when my BG becomes in progress.

I sure hope it'll be in 2016! The sooner the better :)

Drinking....a lot.. ;D

Then when the hangover wears off, start looking for houses/condos (want to move) and scoping possible new vehicles. Been holding off on making any big decisions before I find out if I get PR or not.

EDIT: (Just saw this as well) Apply for a new SIN :)

When I get ppr, I will get Hennessy for myself.

When I get copr, I will get glenlivet 18.

When I complete my landing, I will get Johnny green.

When I get my pr card, I will get Johnny blue.

Then I will try to quit.

There will be enough chances to drink a lot once in Canada too because of the frigid cold that will restrict one indoors for 4-5 months of the year, not to mention the time when one is looking out for employment. ;D ;D

PS: i'm being realistic and not negative, although it might sound so.

Go to buy one case of Canadian beer and celebrate with family, happy New Years 2016 in our new home...Canada:)))

lol....I hear you man. Very realistic. I'm in Canada now though, working (i'm a CEC candidate). This will just make my situation a bit more stable. Just want the entire process to be over now.
