My husband is going to take the medical exam for the immigration(family class sponsorship).
I am his sponsor.
However, the hospital told him that they don't provide the hard copy of the medical exam report.
All the results will be in the database and someone may search it online if they get the authority.

Does anyone know about this? ...since the medical exam report is in the checklist of the required documents, how do we deal with this when we mail our documents?

thanks

You should get a receipt after the medical, that has his medical file # listed on it, which you include in your application. The visa officer can then look up the medical based on that file #.

I agree! If that is the form they are refusing to give you then I would make sure they are on the list of approved physicians.

Hi all,

can anyone tell me that should I include the original receipt of the medical exam or the certified true copy of the receipt?

you will get 1 receipt from the doctor. mine was a printout on regular printer paper with personal information, photo and barcode for CIC to locate the information. Send the copy the doctor gives you, and make a copy for your records. the medical receipt does not need to be certified. The barcode is what is used to verify validity.
