Black Mirror was exhausting. Watched first episode and started second but turned it off. Just too intense. Have really enjoyed the UK police series "Happy Valley" and Oz series "Offspring"? Total binge potential there! Can also recommend Sully for a good movie.

Have not seen or heard of Happy Valley. Will keep my eyes peeled. Don't have Netflix at the moment so just going through old downloads and DVDs. Nothing new :(

Yep, that's true. I had to go lie down after watching the Shut Up and Dance episode. Is Downton Abbey any good? I heard that it's very popular, but kind of a chick flick tv show?

Good grief. You could get whip lash going from Black Mirror to DA!! Downtown was a beautifully crafted period piece. Well worth investing your time to watch.

Yep. Melancholia is definitely an all time favourite of mine. Although I remember my housemates couldn't stand it for over 30 minutes.

I have put the place beyond the pines on hold and will continue after dinner. Based on the kind of reviews it had got, I assume I'll end up liking it.
I have seen Adam's apples few years ago. Mads mikkelsen is amazing in all his work especially in ' The hunt '

Oh yes, 'The Hunt' is one of my top films of all time. And that reminds me I have yet to see Melancholia. I had recently re-watched 'Dancer in the Dark' by Lars Von Trier and it is beautiful. For now, I am just watching more of Danish comedy ('The Green Butchers', 'Men and Chicken', 'The Idiots'). I actually want to resume watching World War 2 films in the months after that. Hopefully that will be in Canada. :)

I read the post by Alexios and added Black Mirror to my list. I want to see Westworld also because it is written by Jonathan Nolan, and I am interested in seeing something written by him. Only seen mainly Chris Nolan's films, some of which were just co-written by Jonathan. For Black Mirror, I will see the pilot and a couple of more episodes to see how I like it.

Nope, but I finished watching True Detective (pretttty cool) and near the end of Breaking Bad, which is really really good too

I'm happy because finally Sherlock is back on...at least for a couple of weeks. ;D

-27 degrees Celsius here in Winnipeg.

Fun times. :P

For Black Mirror, just start with some lightweight episodes like Nosedive, San Junipero, then move on to The Entire History of You, Playtest, Man Against Fire, Shut Up and Dance etc.

For WestWorld, you can watch it online HERE

Sherlock is my absolute favourite!! I think that is maybe the end though, which makes me very sad :'( I'm like Sherlock on withdrawal just now, even though I keep re-watching it all.

Kryt0n - You need to find Happy Valley. It might be on iPlayer, if you are still in the UK (or ITV player, but I'm pretty sure it was on BBC). It's anything but Happy though. Neville from Harry Potter rocks up in the second series.

Happy Valley is on Canadian Netflix, perhaps UK/US, too? And don't forget to check out Offspring, the Australian obstetrician series. Absolute hoot! Re Sherlock, I was disappointed with the first episode of the newest series. Lacked something compared to the earlier shows. Hope it picks up.
