Please someone guide me what it has to look like the e-mail to CIO in order to receive a status of application? I want also ask about the delay?

I have never written to them, but I think the following information would work:

Hi guys ....no PER till now...it's been more than 4 weeks since I have mailed to cic...no answer.....call centre guys have no idea about my file status and usual answer is that it is in process and no decision is made yet...probably they are reading straight from ECAS...which U can also check if u have UCI...I have read many replies on Canada forum...I believe that ECAS status "in process " merely means that u have been charged and ur file is under review...many experts say its a definite PER after this status....as per my understanding in most rejection cases ecas status "in process" is not updated and mostly file is just returned back by regular snail mail...many don't even get NER email....u just suddenly recieve full package returned in mail....I don't think it takes too much time for immigration officer to check for eligibility(67 points +job description as per NOC).....most people get PER in 30 days time after cc charge....my cc was charged 70 days back....140 days since file submitted .....Wish I get a decision soon..it's sydney office who can really answer all queries and they are taking almost 60 days to reply due to backlog...it's no bummer if I don't go through this process....it's destiny .....I just want a answer from CIC ....no positive or negative response from CIC is stressful....

I don't see your views as negative or discouraging; you are just anxious, a bit frustrated and also a bit nervous just like the rest of us. Though it is one of the hardest things to do, you have to remain hopeful and positive. I see in Tbaba's post where he said he is aware of someone getting PER 155 days after application date, so as long as you don't receive a NER, there is ALWAYS hope.

So keep your head up and keep praying, The Lord answers prayers in just the right time.

Have you seen any cases that got NER or file sent back in real after this much delay.. bcoz even for me 140 days since app received and 64 days since dd encashed..

As long as you have not recieved any news from CIC it means your file is still being considered, so remain positive in your thought. Like I said before I know somebody that recieve PER after 90days of CC charge

I have one more doubt rather question...what is procedure to change email id...can it be done online or over the phone or IMM form needs to filled & forward the hard copy to CIC and how much time it takes to update the records...please advise..as u all know that I have still not recd my Golden email..

Just received a phone call from a friend who is writing also in the forum: ssy81 - 27th of Aug applicant. She will confirm later but I want to tell you that she has just received PER email. Obviously CIC works today and obvoiusly it is possible to receive PER after 6 months of waiting!!!!

So so so happy!!! Hope to receive more good news today!!! 8)
