The longest waiting time after Medicals+Passport submission; please share here!

I am not sure if all the visa offices would entertain us to come in person. Some of my friends from other forums say they plan to go in person and get it stamped. I did not have it in the letter and I was not prepared for going all the way to NY for this. Since it was not mentioned in my letter, I did not want to take the chance.

I haven't been asked to retake the medical test.I am left to guess that the first medical test that I did 6 months ago, had no issues.

i sent passport like 7 months ago in december 2009 to NEWDELHI
 
So what could be the reasons for the delay? Does anyone have a clue? I am really concerned.

Vehla,It looks like we're sailing the same sea.However as a PNP applicant you're likely to reach the port so soon!. Let's hope for a positive conclusion sooner than later.

It must be mainly security check and stuff. It is a case by case issue and therefore impossible to predict. But the problem is that CHCs keep passports for such a long time and wait for the process to complete. People might need them for different reasons. Can't they just do everything and ask for passports only when they are ready for visa stamping?? Good question huh?

yes that should be the case as we need passport for different reasons and they are keeping it.It would be easy if they asked the passport after the checking is complete.That way we dont have to wait in frustration
