Hello everyone!

This week has given most of us smiles on our faces. The news on Sponsorship Approvals and AORs is a sign for all of us that there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

I am so happy for all of you guys who made progress since the start of this thread.

And to those who are still about to receive the good news, don't give up and just stay positive. Always remember that what we are experiencing right now...the hardships, the stress and disappointments ....they are all worth the wait. Let us remind ourselves that when we want something to happen, we fight for it, endure it as best as we can.

All of this are just part of the process. It will end in it's proper time...and when that time comes, we will all be finally reunited to our spouses and loved ones.

So good luck to everyone. Let's invite positive vibes and cheer ourselves up. Pray and just enjoy life.

It was such a good decision of mine to join you here, all of you just gave me hope, it's a lot easier to wait together. To know, it's not "only me" going through all that stress and pain.

I have a question.We applied for the spousal visa but my husband is planning to get me a visitor's visa while waiting for the other application coz we know that because of the strike it's gonna take awhile. So, is it possible that they gonna approve our visitor's visa knowing that we applied for the spousal visa? Any idea guys? or any suggestion? please help... Thank you and more power to all!

My wife and I tried the same thing and we were denied within a couple of days. Most people I know were refused. I would recommend not proceeding with the visitor visa. Save your time and money for the bigger event.

Just received the AOR via email from CIC. It was totally unexpected being that it's 11am on a Saturday in Ontario. None the less, a totally welcoming sight and a bit of a relief to say the least!

I also got my AOR on a weekend .It's raining here in our city... and I slept the whole afternoon hehe.I am not sleepy yet
