Have a good news!! My wife got her passport request from the visa office today..!!!!

COngratulations User_23. Your PPR means New Delhi VO is already starting to look into your papers right? I've read a few weeks ago that there is one from May thread that also got his PPR and he also said that you VO usually requests the passport at the start of Stage 2.

Anyways, I've updated your spreadsheet already. It's nice to see the new green color on the sheet.

Thanks Alvaro!!! Yeah New Delhi normally requests passport at the start of stage 2 and that is kinda what email I received says as well.

Congrats User_23! You are one step closer to the PR. Hope it's the same for all of us shortly.
That proves that New Delhi VO is not completely on strike and there is still some processing going on.
I guess that also means that pasbank and I should be expecting a PPR shortly as our VO is also New Delhi.

And hopefully the strike ends soon for all of us. Good luck to everyone!

New Column in the spreadsheet for MEDICAL RESULTS HAS BEEN RECEIVED

Hello everyone!

I know some of you noticed that I added a new column for the "Medical Results has been received update on ECAS" in the spreadsheet.
Some of us received that kind of update lately on our ECAS and somehow it can give us an idea on the status of our applications.

If anyone received this kind of update, please don't hesitate to inform us. We would gladly update your progress on the sheet.

By the way, thanks so much Desi-girl for the idea and for the kind suggestions for the spreadsheet.

Cheers everyone for a speedy process of our application! Hoping that we will receive more PPRs in the coming months and visas as well.

Thanks Desi-girl!!! You will be getting your passport request soon... Ecas status is still application and medicals received...No update regarding the passport request... And there is no deadline on submitting the passport. As you said, so happy to see NDVO is not completely shut because of the strike...!

On August 15th... yeah its a gud idea to have medicals received update on our spreadsheet...!!! u guys r doing a great job in keeping the spreadsheet updated...

I hope that kind of update leads us to an early PPR as well. Oh, we'll never know...my ECAS still says Application received with the 2nd line that says medical results has been received too.

I hope we get the word "In Process" in the next few months.

If anyone here has a "meds received" on their ECAS, please let us know when you received it because we would know that ECAS is being updated and PRs are being processed.

I am so glad that the VOs are still open and processing the PR applications. I just happened to go through the New Delhi forum and about 6 to 8 people have already received their Visas from New Delhi yesterday ;D and most of them had applied in March.

For some of them, their status just changed from Application Received to Decision Made, so we might not get the In Process or Meds Received on ECAS. But it might provide a bit of comfort to some and another cause for celebration when the status changes...lol
I am praying that all of us have a quick processing so that we may be together with our spouses and families soon.

Did you also get a new UCI for the applicant with passport request? I read somewhere on the other forum that you do, so I am confused. ??? I thought there was only one UCI.

I am hoping to get the PPR soon, maybe next week. But it's also a bit stressful, knowing that an important piece of identity is with them and hoping that they won't lose it because it can happen sometimes since they are holding onto it for a long time before they issue the visas. :-X

I'm the sponsor and by default I have an UCI#. Now that I have sponsored my wife, she got a new UCI#, tat was first seen in the AOR received from Mississauga. The same UCI# is what I found in the passport request sent by NDVO. Technically once we get a UCI#, tat never changes for rest of our life. And I fully agree with you, NDVO holding the passport for so long is not a gud idea... Don't know why they do tat.. We both share a similar time line, u should be getting your ppr anytime now. Waiting to hear the gud news from u... Gud luck!!!!
