Wow, you are 6 hours ahead of me, I must check the map I thought it couldn't be more than 4. Wait, but then I am 9 hours ahead of my Husband (remember we will be really really close to each other in CA), soooooo that's 15 hours for you, which doesn't seem right..... how do you count it then? Gosh I am sure stupid, I need to find my answer. I've never been wondering these questions before ???

Yeah, we can meet when we arrive in BC. See you there neighbour! Yes it's 15 hours difference between Manila and Canada. But what I do is subtract 3 hours from Manila time and reverse the night into day/day into night so I can synch with hubby's time in Canada. I've already mastered it for almost 9 years of long distance with hubby hehhee

Your SA will come, maybe next week so just wait for it my friend.

Yeah, my ECAS still shows Application Received. You should use your UCI # instead of the App # so you can access the progress of your application.And also, check if all the infos are correct like your name and address, etc.

ECAS is not very reliable these days. They only update it every Tuesday. ^_^v

Thank you! We are currently living in the Philippines and lived in Costa Rica for years before that. We plan to live on Van Island as I am quite hesitant to be moving back to "winters" and want as mild of winters as possible! What about you, where are you planning to live?

I am bound to Coquitlam, BC. I also want mild winters too because I am used to tropical climate here in our country.

Thank you dear! I am so thankful and excited that Stage 1 is finished for us. I agree, not having any idea about the progress of our application is really stressful. I'm glad we are having progress now.

I am praying that all of you guys here get your SA the soonest possible time.

Aww, I am really sorry to hear that ism45....Don't worry too much. Just think positive. It's just part of the process,and at the least they are going through your papers this early.

I don't think you won't need to wait for another month. As long you send them back again the unsigned form that you missed and SA will be issued soon.

If it's ok, may I ask which form did you miss signing?

I am not quite sure if CPC-M also joined the strike. But from the news, only 15 major visa offices abroad are doing the rotating strikes.

Anyway, may I ask when was your medical done and where you're bound to in Canada? Thanks!!

Ooohhh, I am soo sorry!
We have the same timeline, so we should get it soon IF they sent it back. BUT I sure hope not.
I think you wont loose a whole month, because you just have to sign it and then send it back. Its not like you miss a doc. which takes time to gather. Just hold on.

Yeah, you will be in the August Out-land category now. Might as well start your own thread for that. This same-thing happened to me, when i applied in June, and they returned it back for the same reason. Hence here is my thread now. Dont worry man, if you do start your own thread, the days will go by faster for you. Hang in there, it happens to the best of us.
